Say Yes
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This week's Moment of Truth: Matthew 6:31-33 (NIV) — "Do not be anxious... Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Seek first. Not second. Not when it's convenient. First.
In this week's "Moment of Truth," Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) reminds us that God has not called us to pursue comfort or to be liked. He has called us to seek His kingdom first — and to trust that everything else will follow.
This is not the time to be derelict in your duty. The world is hard. People are hurting. And God has placed you — with your specific talents, resources, and challenges — exactly where He needs you. The only question is whether you will say yes.
Where in your life can you say yes to God right now? Not how. Not at what cost. Just — where?
Because when you seek His kingdom first and make yourself available, He will do things you cannot imagine.
